Haiti is in a state of unprecedented crisis with gangs controlling the capital. We are so thankful that calm and order remain in Fort Liberte and much of the north. But the entire country is affected by the closing of borders and ports, making food and fuel scarce, and prices skyrocketing. Families are taking in members who have fled Port au Prince, and the Jerusalem Baptist Church is resourceful and energetic in trying to respond to needs of the community to cope, especially the poor. The leaders are currently planning several food distributions. If you would like to help, will forward all your donations to support their efforts.
