We are building a new Grandparents House for our “elder orphans” and we need your help! This project is a beautiful example of our partnership with the Jerusalem Baptist Church, who recently voted to donate property for a new facility and is also invested in caring for the vulnerable in their own community. The build will also further invest in Fort Liberté, with the use of Haitian architect, construction company, and labor.
The new House will have 12 individual units, a courtyard, better bathrooms, and ramp-accessibility. It’s estimated that the initial build will cost $70,000, or approximately $33 per square foot, and we are asking for donations to help meet this need.
